Fortebet Real Star Monthly Awards: Shaban faces competition from two UPL stars for December Award

The Fortebet real stars awards revealed their December 2023 nominees on Thursday evening.

In the football category, three athletes from three different Clubs were chosen to battle out for the prestigious monthly awards.

Muhammed Shaban (Kampala Capital City Authority -KCCA FC), Abraham Tusubira (Maroons) and Ivan Bogere (SC Villa) were the athletes nominated for December.

Shaban was so instrumental for KCCA getting back to winning ways scoring 3 goals, 1 against Bright stars and 2 against Gaddafi FC.

For Abraham Tusubira and Ivan Bogere all contributed to the success of their clubs, SC Villa and Maroons respectively.

Abraham Tusubira helped his club secure 3 wins and 2 draws in December, scoring once against Gaddafi and assisting 4 times to take his assist tally of the season to 6.

For Ivan Bogere, he guided his side to 4th position of the Star times Uganda Premier League, scoring once against Gaddafi and assisting twice to take his assist tally to four in the 2023/24 campaign.

Soltilo Bright stars striker, Nelson Ssenkatuka won the November, 2023 Fortebet real stars awards of the football category.

In the other three sports disciplines, athletes will battle out for supremacy in the different categories like Cricket, Boxing and Rugby

Henry Ssenyondo will face competition from Victoria Pearls duo Rita Musamali and Captain Consolate Nimungu Aweko in the Cricket category.

In Boxing, John Sserunjoji, Isaac Masembe and Jjunju Power will all go head to head while the Rugby, Jude Jjuuko faces both Alhaji Manano and Pius Mpoza.

The Fortebet real stars awards are monthly awards organized by Fortebet and Jude Color Solutions to recognize the excellent sports personalities of a particular month.
