Shortly after launching their collaboration with betPawa Uganda, the Futsal Association Uganda (FAU) has released the draft fixtures for the upcoming 2023/24 betPawa Futsal Super League.
In a significant expansion, this year’s competition will feature 12 teams, doubling the participation from the previous 6 in the 2022/23 season.
The league is set to kick off on Thursday, November 23, 2023, and will conclude on May 10, 2024.
A notable change for this season is that all games will be played at night, aiming to accommodate more fans and supporters and enhance the visibility of this rapidly growing sport.
Yeak Kabowa, now Lugaba Grameen securing their second title last season with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Kisenyi, enter the competition as the defending champions.
