Exclusive: Onduparaka set to announce Joseph Mutyaba as Bainomugisha’s successor

StarTimes Uganda Premier League side Onduparaka FC are set to announce Joseph Mutyaba as coach Vialli Bainomugisha’s successor, TheTouchlineSports sources have learnt.

Bainomugisha left the caterpillars in February after the club failed to clear his arrears of about seven months from the time he was appointed to replace Livingston Mbabazi who left midway through last season.

Assistant coach Abu Mubarak Wamboya has been in charge of the team on an interim basis ever since Bainomugisha left the club after only 5 games.

Now the Caterpillars are set to announce the appointment of  Joseph Mutyaba as their new head coach ahead of the second round of the Uganda Premier League that commences on Wednesday.

Mutyaba has previously managed at Mutundwe Lions, BUL in 2014/15, Lweza in 2015/16, Busia Fisheries in 2016/17 and Masavu in the 2017/18 seasons.

Mutyaba’s first task is a StarTimes Uganda Premier League match on Wednesday as his new side, Onduparaka takes on Busoga United at the FUFA Technical Center, Njeru.
