Ugandan winger Kizito Luwagga was once again on the scoresheet as his side Hapoel Kfar Saba lost 2-1 to Bnei Yehuda in the Israel Toto Cup match played at the Bloomfield Stadium.
In the 40th minute, Luwagga propelled his side into a halftime lead when he put the ball past Yehuda’s Niron Omer.
However, his goal was canceled out in the 65th minute by substitute Lazmi Ariel and four minutes from time, Bnei Yehuda found the game’s winning goal through another substitute, Amit Zanti.
Luwagga has now found the back of the net thrice in four Toto Cup Ligat Al matches.
Hapoel now shifts their attention to the Israel Premier league match against Hapoel Tel Aviv next Sunday.
Last season, Hapoel Kfar Saba narrowly survived relegation from the Israel top tier league, having finished just a place above the relegation line.
