Another fruitful weekend for Ugandan professionals abroad as Ritah Kivumbi scored for her Swedish club, while in Tanzania, Khalid Aucho got the better of Taddeo Lwanga as Yanga beat Simba. Here is how Ugandan internationals fared over the weekend.
Starting off in Sweden, Ritah Kivumbi came off the bench to score for her side, Mallbacken IF as they lost 2-1 to Borgeby in the Swedish Elitettan. Kivumbi came on for Irvina Bajramovic in the 56th minute and at the hour mark, she netted the equaliser but still her side lost by a goal.
In the Swedish Allsvenskan, Isaac Ssewakambo featured full-time while Ronald Mukiibi was absent as their side, Ostersunds FK lost 3-0 to Djurgarden while in the Swedish Division 1, Alexis Bbaka featured for the last 30 minutes and was yellow carded as his side, Umea FC drew 2-all with IF Brommapojkarna.
Still, in Sweden, Viola Nambi was out as her side, Vaxjo DFF drew 1-all with Hacken in the Swedish Damallsvenskan.
In England, Uche Ikpeazu Mubiru was an unused substitute for Middlesbrough FC as they lost 1-0 to Reading in the English Championship.
In the English League One, Jordan Obita featured full-time for Wycombe Wanderers as they lost 1-0 to MK Dons.

In the Denmark Women’s Division 2, Vannesa Kalungi started in goal and saved a penalty before halftime as her side B.93 secured a 2-1 victory over AB Copenhagen.
In Germany, Herbert Bochum featured full-time for VFL Bochum as they drew goalless with VfB Stuttgart in the Germany Bundesliga.
In Isreal, Fahad Bayo featured for 76 minutes while Timothy Awanyi featured full-time for Ashdod SC as they defeated Beitar Jerusalem 2-0 in the Isreal Premier League. Kizito Luwagga came on in the 63rd minute for Stav Nachmani but could only help Hapoel Nof Hagalil to a 1-0 loss to Kiryat Shmona.
In the Czech Republic, Isaac Muleme featured full-time and was cautioned as Viktoria Zizkov drew 1-all with Dukla in the Czech Republic National Football League.
In Tanzania, Khalid Aucho got the better of Taddeo Lwanga as Young Africans FC defeated Simba SC 1-0 in the Tanzania Community Shield ( Ngao Va Jamii). Taddeo was sent off before the end of the game.
In Congo, Joseph Benson Ochaya started and featured full-time as TP Mazembe secured a 4-0 victory over Sanga Balende in the Congolese Linafoot.
In the USA, Mustafa Kizza was an unused substitute as Montreal Impact lost 2-1 to Columbus in the Major League Soccer while another Kizza, Edward was absent as New England defeated Orlando City 2-1.
In the USL, Mike Azira featured full-time as New Mexico United defeated San Antonio by a goal to nil.
In South Africa, Denis Onyango started in goal for Mamelodi Sundowns and kept a clean sheet as they defeated Orlando Pirates 2-0 in the DSTV Premiership.
Still, in PSL, Ismail Watenga also started in goal as Chippa United as they last 2-1 to Stellenbosch while Moses Waiswa Ndondi featured for 56 minutes as Supersports United secured a 2-1 victory over Maritzburg United.
