FIFA World Cup qualifiers:Micho names provisional local based squad ahead e Rwanda double-header

Ugandan Cranes head coach Milutin Sredojevic has named a provisional 33-man local based squad to start preparations for the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers  double-header against Rwanda.

Uganda will travel to Kigali to verse Rwanda on 7th October before returning home on 10th October to verse their neighbours.

Among the thirty three, includes 7 Vipers SC players, 10 KCCA FC players and four players from Express.

Among the new inclusions include Vipers’ David Bagoole, Livingstone Mulondo and Express’s Mahad Yaya Kakooza.

According to FUFA, the team entered camp after Saturday’s Uganda Cranes Regional tour game against Eastern Region Select Team.

Uganda sit third in group E with two points garnered in their opening two games.

The foreign based players will be added to the Squad by the coach at a later date as and when FIFA dates are opened, per FUFA website.
