Goalkeeper Davis Mutebi has come out to state that he could not turn down the chance join Jinja-based UPL side BUL FC after confirming his commitment to the Jinja based side.
The Shot stopper was among the five players who were unveiled at BUL FC on Friday evening at the club offices in Masese, Jinja Town, putting pen to paper on a two-year employment contract from Police.
After the unveiling, Davis said he was excited about the prospect of joining the club and termed the move as one he couldn’t turn down.
“Indeed time has come for a new challenge and I am excited at this chance that I have got to be part of the next phase in the club’s fight to achieve success.” Mutebi told the club media.
“Police FC is a top club and I have many friends there but you cannot turn down the chance to join BUL FC. I look forward to helping the coach and the club in its entirety to be successful in the coming years.” He added.
Mutebi is expected to fill the void left by Eric Kibowa who is reportedly on his way out of the club.
BUL FC has so far signed Eight players in the ongoing transfer window ahead of the 2020-21 StarTimes UPL season scheduled to commence in October.
