Uganda Cranes Head Coach Micho has called upon winger Ibrahim Orit to the national team side that is preparing to face Tanzania in CHAN Qualifiers second leg at St. Mary’s Stadium Kitende.

The team are in control of the tie after winning the first leg through a Travis Mutyaba late winner in the Benjamin Mkapa National Stadium, Tanzania.

The Vipers winger scored twice in Vipers friendly against Bright Stars and looks in good shape after spending the biggest part of last season on the sidelines.
Apart from Orit, Shaban Muhammad and George Kasonko are also the other two names that have been recalled to the team.
Micho’s charges will look to lift themselves in order to collect a win in the second leg CHAN Qualifier slated to be played on Saturday 3rd August 2022.
The aggregate winner between Uganda and Tanzania will qualify for the CHAN finals slated for January, 2023 in Algeria.
