The road to the historic TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) PAMOJA 2027 officially took shape on Tuesday after the qualification draw was held at the CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt.

The tournament, which will be hosted jointly by Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania, is scheduled to take place from 19 June to 17 July 2027, bringing together Africa’s top national teams for a month-long continental showdown.

Uganda, one of the co-hosts, were drawn in Group H alongside Tunisia, Libya, and Botswana. Although the Uganda Cranes have already secured automatic qualification as co-hosts, they will still take part in the qualifiers as part of their preparations for the finals.
