Stanbic Uganda Cup winners BUL FC have been drawn against Egyptian side Future FC in the preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup.
This is after the draws of Africa’s prestigious competition were held on Tuesday evening in Cairo, Egypt.
The first leg will be played in Kampala between 7-9 October,2022 while the second leg will be played between 14-16 October,2022 in Egypt.
The winner between BUL and Future FC will face winner between Buffles (Bénin) and Kallon FC (Sierra Leone).
BUL aimed this slot after winning the Stanbic Uganda Cup final in Masindi after beating Vipers 3-1.
Future FC are currently in fourth position on the Egyptian Premier League log and won the 2022 EFA League Cup.
This is BUL’s maiden appearance in any CAF competition since the club was founded in 2007.
