CAF Champions League: Congolese to officiate Bangui-Vipers first leg tie

The Confederation of Africa Football ( CAF) has confirmed that Congolese nations will officiate the CAF Champions League preliminary round first leg game between Olympic Real De Bangui and Vipers SC this weekend.

Jean Pierre Tshiamala Kabangu will be the center referee and will be assisted by  Nabina Blaise Sebutu and Babaka Mampasa as his first and second assistants respectively.

Another Congolese, Tanguy Lopembe Tangi will be the fourth official while Burundian Jean Claude Niyongabo has been appointment the match commissioner.

This first leg tie will take place at Stade Alphonse Massamba Debat in Congo Brazzaville on Saturday, September 10th, 2022 after Bangui’s home ground,Stade Barthélemy Boganda in Central Africa Republic wasn’t sanctioned by CAF to host continental games.

The return leg will happen on September 17th, 2022 at St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende with the aggregate winner after two legs advancing to the next round to face TP Mazembe.
