Match day 13 of the 2019-20 Buganda Regional League was filled with non-stop action from the seven games played across the Buganda region over the weekend

Synergy FC registered the heaviest win of the weekend after thrashing Mityana Based and second-placed Kiyinda Boys FC 4-2 at Saza Ground in Mityana

The visitors took the lead in the 2nd minute through the left wing-back Musa Kazibwe as he took a power shot from the edge of the box which caught Kiyinda Boys custodian Derrick Were off-guard to find the back of the net.

Frank Yiga doubled the visitors’ lead in the 13th minute before completing his brace two minutes later to make it 3-0 for the visiting team with just 15 minutes on the clock

Henry Kayondo added more misery to the home team, scoring a simple tap in from Daniel Kazibwe’s well-weighed cross in the 52nd minute and put the scores at 4-0.

Kiyinda Boys woke up later in the 65th minute as Joseph Mbigo pulled one back for the home team before lethal striker Nsamba Patrick scored the second with 15 minutes to death of the game.

This win maintains Synergy in the 4th place with 23 points garnered in 13 games while Kiyinda Boys remains second with 25 points amassed in 13th games

In Ssezibwa Group, Lugazi Municipal FC registered a crucial 2-0 away win over fierce rivals Buikwe Red Stars FC thanks to Steven Wavamuno and Gerald Ogwet strikes in the 6th and 87th minutes respectively
