“We are in right shape to pick all 3 ” – Mutebi confident ahead of KCCA-Vipers’ meet

KCCA FC head coach Mike Mutebi is confident his side can pick up a positive result at the St. Marys Stadium,Kitende when the Startimes Uganda Premier league resumes on Tuesday evening with a matchday 22 encounter between the table leaders Vipers SC and second placed KCCA FC.

The Kasasiro boys come into the game 5 points adrift of the log leaders Vipers SC with only 9 games to the death of the 2019-20 season.

KCCA sit second on the 16 team log with 44 points in 21 games while Vipers SC are atop with 49 points.

KCCA won their last league game  2-1 at home against Maroons FC but lost their last away league game 2-1 at the hands of URA FC.

Speaking ahead of the encounter,  KCCA FC head Coach Mike Hillary Mutebi said he is Confident that he team is in right shape to pick up a positive result at the St. Marys Stadium, Kitende.

KCCA FC and Vipers SC are the  favourites to win this years SUPL championship but the league is a marathon and many games are yet to be played until the end of the season. For us, We will take each game as we prepare for the next one”

Mutebi also confirmed his central defensive pair  of John Revita and Samuel Kato are out of the game.

Most of the boys who have on the sidelines and suspensions are back but John Revita, Samuel Kato, Sadat Anaaku and Sam Ssenyonjo are out with injuries”

In the reverse fixture, KCCA beat Vipers SC 1-0 at the Startimes Stadium, Lugogo and Succumbed the Visitors to their first league loss of the season.
