Bombers flagged off to Cameroon


The Uganda Boxing National Team( the Bombers) were flagged off to Cameroon for the Africa Elite Women and Men’s Boxing Championship.

Amidst a number of people that flogged the Kyamkys grounds were top Boxing officials that were headed by the President Moses Muhangi and Shadow minister for sports Hon. Geofrey Kayemba.

In a colorful boxing event, the different athletes came along with their parents and guardians.

All the 17 boxers had a 360 show and a speech to offer in the ring something that gave all the revealers a smile especially when when their homeboy Ukasha Matovu came to the centre stage.

There were different artistes who entertained the people in Mark DUrban and China Pro who also influenced the public to give a token of appreciation to the Bombers.

The Bombers were later on flagged off by the boxing presidents as they portrayed some shadow boxing alongside their coaches.

The tournament the Bombers are going to participate in is set to start on 25th July and climax on August 6th.
