Motherwell defender and hero Bevis Mugabi claims his side got what they deserved from the Scottish Premiership game against Ross Country on Wednesday evening.
The 25-year old Uganda Cranes international scored the winning goal in the 72nd minute as the Wells rallied from a goal down to outlast Ross Country 2-1 at the Global Energy Stadium, Dingwall.
“Important three points that we desperately needed,” a delighted Bevis Mugabi said before adding; “we conceded earlier on in the first half but we kept on fighting for each other until when we got what we deserved.”
With yesterday’s win, Motherwell have now moved a place up on the 12-team log, sitting 10th with 22 points garnered in 24 games and will continue their battle to avoid relegation next week against Dundee United.
Elsewhere, Ugandan forward Fahad Aziz Bayo netted once again and grabbed an assist as his side, Ashdod SC claimed a 4-0 victory over Bnei Yehuda in the Israel Ligat HA’al.
Bayo has now netted four times in the 14 games he has featured in for Ashdod.
