Airtel Uganda in partnership with the Buganda Kingdom, has launched the 2020 edition of the Airtel Kabaka run at the Kingdom offices in Bulange, Mengo
The 2020 Kabaka run is expected to attract over 600,000 runners and will be held on Sunday, April 5th 2020.
The 2020 Airtel Kabaka run is aimed at promoting HIV Aids public awareness inorder to curb the deadly disease
Speaking at the launch, the Katikiro of Buganda Charles Peter Mayiga thanked all the headline partners and sponsors for their hardwork towards promoting Ugandan development
I highly thank and appreciate our partners (Airtel Uganda, DFCU Bank, URA, BBS TV and CBS ) for the hardwork done towards promoting Buganda development and Ugandan development in general”
Mayiga appreciated the sponsors.
We want to get Uganda to the peak and to do that, we have to be healthy, most especially for the men who are at more risk of getting HIV Aids. So i encouraged everyone to participate in the Kabaka run inorder to curb the deady disease”

After 7years with Buganda Kingdom, going into our eighth year, we want to ensure that everybody can participate and contribute to the cause of eliminating AIDS in Uganda this year”
