BUL FC were at their best on Wednesday evening when they hosted Onduparaka FC in a SUPL game played at the FUFA Technical Center in Njeru
The Jinja based side put 4 goals past the Caterpillars.
Musa Esenu, Musa Walangalira, Fredson Gwoto and Joseph Ssemujju all scored a goal each to condemn Onduparaka to their 12th league loss of the 2019-20 SUPL season.
The first goal scoring chance fell to Musa Esenu but the striker failed to connect with Ssemujju’s well laid cross.
In the 20th minute, Esenu made up for his missed chance when he put the ball into the back of net after a slight deflection off Onduparaka’s Denis Andama to give BUL the games lead.
At the half hour mark, Walangalira doubled the advantage when he headed past Onduparaka goalie Yusuf Wasswa into the back of net. The game went into the halftime break with BUL FC holding a 2-0 advantage over the Caterpillars
As the Second half commenced, Midfielder Fredson Gwoto slotted in the 3rd after a beautiful setup by Ssemujju.
Ssemujju added salt to Onduparaka’s wounds in the 78th minute after helping BUL find the back the net for the 4th time with a wonderful thunderous strike just outside the box.
BUL FC through Ssemujju and Esenu, could have added more but Wasswa made incredible saves to deny the pair in the last 10 minutes of the game.
The win takes BUL FC to 36 points in 25 games while Onduparaka sit a position below BUL, 8th position on the log with 31 points.
BUL will travel to Mighty Arena to face Kyetume while Onduparaka will return home to host Bright Stars when the league returns in May 2020 after the long CHAN break.
