Ahmed Kongola has been named the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Jinja based side BUL FC replacing Saleh Salmin who was sacked earlier this month.
Kongola, a former administrator at The Saints FC (now UPDF CF) and another Jinja based side Busoga United Football Club beat Takoowa Mugerwa, Moses Tusiime, Ivan Kakembo, and Peter Mukembo among others to the role the Club declared vacant after dismissing Saleh for ‘match-fixing and abuse of office.’

According to the club press release, Kongola was appointed on a two-year contract and is expected to start his duties effective 1st December 2019.
BUL Football Club completed their first round of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League season with 29 points in the 15 matches.
