AC Horsens has finalized the signing of Uganda Cranes forward, Rogers Mugisha.
The club officially announced the move on Thursday morning, revealing that the 20-year-old has committed to a contract until the summer of 2026.

Mugisha arrives from Kenyan side Gor Mahia, where he spent a brief six months. Prior to his stint with Gor Mahia, he showcased his skills at UPDF FC in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League for a two-year period.
Having represented Uganda at various levels, from U17 to U20, Mugisha made his debut for the Uganda Cranes in a friendly against Mali. Although he secured a spot in the final squad for Uganda’s AFCON qualifier against Tanzania, he is yet to earn a competitive cap for the national team.
His notable performance at the 2023 CAF U20 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt earned him a spot on the tournament’s team, despite Uganda bowing out in the quarterfinals against Nigeria.
Mugisha’s transfer marks Horsens’ latest January acquisition, following the additions of Julius Madsen, Manny Perez, and Simon Becher.
The club competes in the Danish second division, having been relegated from the top flight last season.
Mugisha will hope to make his debut on Saturday when Horsens hosts Aarhus Fremad in a friendly game.
