Badminton is set for an showdown on it’s final day at the Federation of East Africa Secondary Schools Sports Associations in Mbale.
The troupes at Mbale Senior Secondary School are set for a Rubaga Girls, Mbogo High School final day showpiece that will see different National team starlets take on each-other in the Girls category.
In this we shall have two doubles and three singles with the most anticipated one being Fadilah Shamika and Tracy Naluwooza.
All this has come to life after the two sides finished top with no loss or draw after 4 games played in Round Robin method with a total of 12 points above Kenya A (6), Kakungulu Memorial (3), Progressive SS (3) and Kenya B (0).
After the games, we chat with Fadilah Shamika who was optimistic to finish her FEASSSA journey in high spirit;
“Today has been a fair, am happy that we won all our group games” she said
“This is the second time am involved in the FEASSSA games since my senior One in 2018 and it brings me joy”
“Tomorrow is our final day and we are going to face Mbogo High School and we are ready to bring our A game so that we can win the title” she concluded
On the boys side, reigning Champions Kibuli lead the way at the most with maximum points (12) compared to Kenya A and Kakungulu Memorial who are both on 9.
