Despite winning their first game at 2023 and 11th edition of the Pepsi University Football League Kabale University tactician Nsubuga was not convinced by his side’s inefficiency.
The western side University humbled visitors University of Kisubi 3-0 on Friday afternoon thanks to Muzoora Alleluyah‘s hat trick scoring in the 6th, 76th and 85th minute of the game.
In the game, the visitors had the most chances at the beginning of the second stanza despite having the fewest chances in the opening half with evidence that most of the goals came in the closing half.
“We were ready to play, the boys were fit mentally and physically, we have been training for a while and I think that has helped is to win the game” the Kabale University tactician said
“But the group is very tight, we have defending champion in Uganda Martyrs and Bugema, so we need to be more fit and clinical.” he added and concluded
With four games played only all the home sides (St Lawrence, Uganda Martyrs University, Bishop Stuart University and Kabale ) have kept the points at home.
The next game will played on Sunday as Makerere University host Kyambogo University.
