Buddu edged Kyadondo 2-1 in the first leg of the Masaza Cup at Hormisdallen playgrounds on Saturday evening.

Both Pius Ssebulime and Meddie Kasule were on target in the opening half, scoring in the 20th and 33rd minute respectively only for Ramadan Mwanga to score three minutes later with promise of more goals.

However to the fans dismay, the game didn’t not produce more goals in the second stanza only to keep the scoreline at 1-2 in favor of Buddu till the final whistle was blown.

Meddie Kasule was awarded with the man of the match accolade after his good display in the game, assisting Ssebulime for the first goal and scoring the second.

In the other game of the day, Buvuma played out a goalless draw with visitors Mawokota at the Magyo Grounds.

On Sunday 17th September, more games will be played as record winners Gomba will battle two time winners Ssingo at Kabulasoke playgrounds while Bulemeezi will host Buwekula at Kasana playground – Luweero.
