On Tuesday evening, Bright stars edged Busoga United in a very tight game that was played at Kakindu stadium, Jinja

The game ended 1-0 in favor of the Kavumba side courtesy of a Ibrahim Kasinde 55th minute beautiful left footed shot out of the box after some incredible run.

Bright stars head coach Asaph Mwebaze, after the game, said his team dug deep to attain the win;

This is Bright stars’ fourth win of the season and it lifts them to 5th on the log, in place of SC Villa on 17 points.

For Busoga United, their woes continue as they concede their 8th loss of the campaign which leaves them in 14th place just four points adrift bottom side Onduparaka.

Bright stars will play their next game in the Startimes Uganda Premier League at home against Wakiso Giants on Tuesday 13th December.
