Express FC head coach Wasswa Bbosa has said that Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club (URA FC) doesn’t scare his side ahead of Stanbic Uganda Cup Round of 16 first-leg tie.

The Red Eagles will host the Tax Collectors on Friday evening at the Betway Muteesa II Stadium, Wakulukuku before a second leg that is scheduled for next week in Ndejje.

Speaking ahead of the game, Bbosa says his team is well prepared for the heavyweight game and adds that the Tax Collectors do not scare them at all.

“We are well prepared for tomorrow’s game against URA FC, a team that has one of the best technical teams and the best players in the league.”

“But they are coming to our home ground, the Betway Muteesa II Stadium in Wakulukuku so it’s a must-win for us before we head into the second leg next week”

“URA doesn’t scare us in any way. I know it’s a big side but we are well prepared to once again garner maximum points against them.”

“I’m not in any way worried about this game as we have already defeated them twice this season (both in the league) so they must be under pressure to win this game. Not us.”

The Red Eagles completed a double against the Tax Collectors in the league, beating them home and away this season.

When asked what he thinks about Sam Ssimbwa, Bbosa was quick to echo that the URA tactician is his mentor.

“I have huge respect for Sam Ssimbwa because he is one of the best coaches in Uganda. Personally, he is my mentor because I like what he does.”

Wasswa Bbosa was Sam Ssimbwa’s assistant at Express FC when they last won the Uganda Premier League title in 2012, their sixth in history.
