Wakiso Giants endures 10th loss of the season at the knacks of Tooro United

On Wednesday evening, Wakiso Giants  endured their 10th defeat of the season in the Startimes Uganda Premier League after suffering a humilating 2-1 away loss to Tooro United in their Match day 21 encounter at St Paul Seminary grounds in Fort portal

Two second-half goals from Yafesi Mubiru(56′, 79′) of Tooro United convicted the Purple Sharks to their 7th defeat on the road. Amis Muwonge scored the consolation goal for the visitors in the 3rd minute of stoppage time in the second half.

Wakiso Giants have managed a total of seven wins, four draws and ten losses from the 21 league games they have played this season and sit 9th on table with 25 points.

Tooro United on the otherhand,  have collected their first win since November 2019 when they beat up on Mbarara City FC. They sit second from bottom with 19 points garnered in 21 games

The Wakiso based side will be back in action on 18th, February 2020 when they host Maroons FC at Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium, Wakiso.
