Uganda Premier League football returns to Kakyeka


Mbarara City FC has been cleared by the FUFA Licensing Committee to host their league games at Kakyeka Stadium in Mbarara with effect from today

The Ankole Lions have been hosting their home league games at Bombo Barracks Playground since the start of second round as their home ground was still under refurbishment.

The management of Mbarara City FC have been warned by the Licensing committee to maintain the status of the playing surface or else their license will be terminated with immediate effect.

They have also made recommendations to the Kakyeka grounds  management that only one team should for meantime host games there so as to have the ground detriorated  again.


Mbarara City will host Police FC on Friday 7th February 2020 as they entertain their own home crowd at Kakyeka.
