SC Villa have continued their busy transfer window ahead of the 2026/27 season by securing the signature of promising attacking midfielder Tonny “Zuzu” Asiku on a four-year deal.
The 22-year-old joins the Jogoos from regional side Arua Airfield FC, where he established himself as one of the standout emerging talents in Ugandan football.
Known for his creativity, technical proficiency, and sharp attacking instincts, Asiku is expected to bring immediate quality and depth to Villa’s midfield as the club aims for a strong campaign.
Asiku is the latest arrival in an increasingly active squad rebuild. During the current window, the record Uganda Premier League champions have already addedJohn Asiimwe,Isaac Gumperom and Steven Mugisha
They have also added Byron Okuba to their strength and conditioning department ahead of the new season.
After finishing fourth in the 2025/26 Uganda Premier League season, the Jogoos have acted swiftly in the market to construct a side capable of challenging for major honours and returning to the summit of domestic football.
