Emmanuel Wasswa scored the only goal for Express who edged past KCCA in Lugogo on Saturday evening.
The Express Football Club Captain netted the decisive strike in the first-half to propel the Red Eagles who took home the maximum points.
Wasswa’s goal was clinically finished all thanks for Richard Basangwa’s pinpoint delivery to pick out the Express FC skipper.
With unmatched organization and defensive solidity, the Kasasiro Boys struggled to create meaningful scoring opportunities.
This victory Express FC’s first win and second clean sheet of the season plus second consecutive away victory against KCCA FC, following last season’s 1-2 win.
For KCCA, this is the 4th consecutive game without a win having lost twice at home and drawn twice away from home.
The result sees Express FC climb to fourth place on the log, level on 19 points with KCCA FC, who remain in third just five points shy off the top.
In their next fixtures, Express FC host URA FC at Nakivubo on 13th December, while KCCA FC will visit Wakiso Giants in Wakiso two days later.
