UPL Pilsner Awards: Media nominated again

As it is every month of the Uganda Premier League, Pilsner has put out the nominations for Pilsner awards for the best performing Player and Coach of April.

Arua Hill youngster Innocent Media has headlined the players nomination list after helping AruaHill climb up the log.

The former Buddo student has done all this in five games with brace against Gadaffi FC and the other came against Villa after a good ball from Geringa Atendele  pushing the Kongolo to two victories, two draws and in five.

On the players side, away from youngster Innocent Media (Arua Hill SC) the other players on the list are Shariph Kimbowa (Wakiso Giants) and Charles Bbaale (SC Villa) 

On the coaching side, two consecutive time winner Coach Jackson Magera Kaddu comes back to the nomination list alongside Alex Isabirye- Vipers and James Odoch of Express.

Bbaale netted four decisive goals in April against three Clubs out the Four he faced. a brace against Wakiso Giants, One each at Bright Stars and KCCA.

For Kimbowa, he scored three goals in April in four matches but none helped his side win a single game  unlike Innocent Media who put away three goals.

On the coaches side, Magera has managed four winning three and losing one game putting SC Villa top of the log with 46 points in 25 matches

For Isabirye has managed six matches winning three, drawing two and losing just once something that has left Vipers third on the log with 42 points after 22 matches.

While Odoch’s Express who have had a great improvement collecting two wins and two draws in four games only to finish April unbeaten.

This leaves the Red Eagles in the 10th on the log with 30 points after 24 matches.
