Vipers SC secured a commanding 2-0 win over URA FC at St Mary’s Kitende in the Uganda Premier League, extending their lead at the top of the table.

After a goalless first half, Allan Okello broke the deadlock in the 53rd minute, confidently converting from the penalty spot.

The goal not only gave Vipers the advantage but also marked Okello’s 12th goal of the season, reinforcing his status as the league’s top scorer.

With 15 minutes left, youngster Enock Luyima sealed the victory with a stunning left-footed strike from outside the box, leaving URA goalkeeper Rogers Omedwa with no chance.

The win sees Vipers move four points clear at the summit with 37 points, maintaining a perfect start to the second round.
