In search of their first three points of the 2024/25 Uganda Premier League season, BUL FC welcome Mbarara City to Lugazi stadium, Najjembe

This is going to be BUL’s fourth game of the campaign having drawn two (2) and lost the other, going on to lay in 13th on the League table. However as many may look at it as a crisis Club’s Head coach Abbey Kikomeko stays positive and acknowledges the urgent need for three points;

“We need the three(3) points badly” Kikomeko cited

“Mbarara is one team that denied us the trophy last season but we are not going to look at the previous results that’s history it’s now a different season” he added

Continuing that;”We are going to approach that game in need of the 3 points and shall fight hard to win our first home game of the season”

“So far scoring goals has been one of our challenges and in the previous matches, the last home goal we scored was by a midfielder Jerome Kirya against KCCA and another by Matama Dickson away at SC Villa but we have been working upon and I expect to see more goals against Mbarara.” he concluded

On the other side, Mbarara City who have also rode on a similar patch form as BUL this season will also set their eyes on a first season win.

However Mbarara will also look to clinch their first away win the Uganda Premier League since June 2021 away to Kyetume (1-3) result something that will be a motivating factor comparing to the BUL side they are going to face.
