Umar Kremlev: IBA President set to visit Uganda once again

International Boxing Association President Umar Kremlev is set to visit Uganda for the second time in two years.

Kremlev who will be hosted by the Uganda Boxing Federation is expected to touchdown in Uganda in the wee hours of Friday, 17th November at 3am.

He will be welcomed by UBF President Moses Muhangi with a delegation of 15 individuals in the country.

The purpose of his return is to follow up on the  USD 5 million multipurpose facility that was said to be be set up in Matugga.

Away from the facility, after a circulating  boxing musical video was initiated by talented Masaka Kids Africana who extended an invitation to Kremlev.

The Russian is set to put a state of the art boxing gym for the talented Kids as it will be made for the entire community.

This visit will continue to strengthen the sport, build capacity and strengthen ties between the Uganda Boxing Federation and the International Boxing Association.
