BetKing Kenyan Premier league side Bandari FC has today unveiled Umar Kasumba as their new signing.
The Uganda joins the FKF premier league side on a one year after close without competitive action since leaving Zesco.
Kasumba makes a return to Kenya having starred in the Kenyan Premier League two seasons ago with Sofapaka, and scored 17 times to earn himself the topscorers tag.
The impressive form earned him a move to Zambia’s Zesco United in 2019 but he struggled to displace Jesse Were as the team’s main striker.
Kasumba who has been without a club for almost a year will battle for the first team opportunities alongside Congolese Yema Mwana and John Mwita.
Kasumba is expected to make his debut today when his new side takes on Wazito FC.
Bandari are currently placed fifth with 26 points on the 18-team league standings after 15 matches.
