Rugby Cranes 7s head coach Tolbert Onyango has named the final squad to represent Uganda at the 2022 Commonwealth Rugby games in Birmingham, England.
The team was released in a voice note that was put out by the Uganda Rugby Union on their twitter handle.

The squad consists of 14 players. It is dominated by Stanbic Black Pirates and Heathens players that will take part in the games slated for July 28th-8th August.
The majority of the players in this squad are from the Stanbic Black Pirates Camp and mainly based on the 7’s team that qualified for the WorldCup 7’s in SouthArica.
They secured their place in the games after they finished top two among Commonwealth nations outside Kenya at the Nile Special sponsored 2022 Rugby Africa Sevens in Kampala.
Zambia the other semifinalist join Uganda to Birmingham, as Zimbabwe who finshed among the top four is not a Commonwealth country.
Uganda will be playing at Commonwealth games for the fifth straight time. The previous editions were in 2006, 2010, 2014 and 2018.
