Uganda Ludo National team, Doves were once again named Champions of the Africa Ludo Cup Of Nations after edging rivals South Africa 1-0 in Extra time in Pretoria South Africa, Ikagenge Hall Mamelodi East
The Doves team drew the game 8-8 in normal time with the hosts of South Africa pushing it to extra timeÂ
The tournament started on Wednesday 27th September and hit Climax on Saturday 30th.
Away from the victory, Uganda Doves player Mubiru Emmanuel who features for Nansana Galaxy in the Uganda Ludo Super League was named the Most Valuable Player of the 2023 tournament.
However as earlier communicated by the President of the Ludo federation, Hussein Kalule the Doves left for the tournament without Government support.
