The Cranes went from 87th to 88th despite their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualification.
After losing and winning once in the latest International break, falling 2-0 to SouthAfrica at home before edging 0-1 away to Congo Brazzaville.
In Africa, Uganda is now ranked 19th, South Africa who topped Group K of the 2025 AFCON qualifiers are 57th in the world and 10th on the continent.
Cranes redemption in their ranking status in their 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifier International break when they will face Mozambique and Guinea in March.
