Thé Uganda Boxing Champions League is set to return this week on Saturday 23rd September at the Lugogo Indoor Arena.
This will be the 11 th week of the edition and will have 15 fights on the menu headlined by a light middle contest between Semuddu Muzamir of Kololo and Kasujja Richard of Lukanga Boxing Club.
Ahead of the fight, in an interview with NBS Sport, Semuddu however called Kasujja the worst and ugliest fighter ever in the Champions League going on to say that;
“I urge Kasujja to come prepared because am going to break his jaw and show him who I am with an intention of taking him over so that he goes back to the open”
Adding that, “Kasujja is the worst and Ugliest fighter have ever seen in the Uganda Boxing Champions League” he concluded
On the other side, a brief Kasujja promised to eat up Semuddu ;
“I am going to play a National team player just like me but am just going to eat him up” he said
Away from the main fight 2022 Africa Elite Boxing Championship medalist Yusuf Nkobeza of Nakawa Boxing Club will face off with UBF Select’s Ojok Alfred in the middle weight.
In the Bantam weight category East Coast’s Kayolo Aggrey will take on Kololo’s Kato Kazibwe just like Hussein Mulo of Namungona who will be set to box with Omondi Marvin from Makindye.
