Fans flogged Club Obligato to witness history as Nerrick Tumusiime “Bulabe” won the main fight of  Week 7 against Mawanda Depark in the Uganda Boxing Champions League season three action that boxed off after two weeks.

The loved competition attracted different people from different homes including Uganda Boxing Federation President Moses Muhangi who is now a regular, Makindye East MP Dan Nyeko and Ghettos youths from  all round Kampala.

The Nerrick – Depark day brought forth students from Kololo not forgetting the rest from East coast Boxing Club who were singing Depark all through till the end.

With different local artistes leading Boxers to the ring on the day, it was no different for Tumusiime who was escorted by his gang too as Mawanda managed a simple and humble entrance with his own (gang) that had pure intent, focusing on winning the bout.

However, the Light middle weight contest didn’t all go well for him as Nerrick started on a strong note, getting onto the offensive.

The Kololo student went in hard with his punches while East Coast’s Mawanda went with the pointers clinch approach but was slow for the occasion in the Opening round.

In the second round, as the two boxers had just started lifting their arms, the doctor indicated to the referee that Mawanda shouldn’t continue with the cut on head and therefore did no mistake but stop it.

Something that saw the judges give Nerrick “Bulabe” the fight after a Referee Stopped Contest in Round two, sending Mawanda Depark in disbelief.

In the other bouts of the day, Matovu Livingstone of Brawn Boxing Club and Lukanga’s Mawanda Shafik put up a box to box show to entertain the revealers.
