Uganda Boxing Champions League: Mukwaya returns to check Kasujja’s guts

The Uganda Boxing Champions League returns this Saturday 30th August 2024 in Kampala with a an unforgettable night of action of Season Three’s its eighth week.

Club Obligato will host a thrilling event for the third consecutive Boxing Day which is set to feature 21 intense bouts that is headlined by a welterweight 67Kgs Elite clash between Mukwaya Edward alias “Pastor” and Kasujja Richard.

Kiwatule’s Mukwaya, a National open giant lost his first fight of his maiden campaign two months ago to Matovu Ukasha from COBAP Boxing Club and will hope to turn around his fortunes this time round.

For Kasujja, one who is well known for his resilience, returns to the ring with determination and hope he can top his weight so that he can be able to grab a belt on boxi day inorder to add onto silver medal he won in the intermediate ranks,

In a lightweight contest, Adnan Yasin and Onen Jafar right after Mukiibi Idris takes on Jamidali Adam.

In the bantamweight Roy Kisakye and Latifa Gift will face off as Ssemambo Ashraf and Mutesasira Ivan in a middleweight clash.

The lightweight division bout will be between Kaddu Julius and Sekyejwe Brian.
