Uganda beat Burundi 3-0 at the StarTimes Stadium – Lugogo to mark a 6-0 aggregate score over the two encounters with neighbors Burundi.
Fahad Bayo opened his account for the Cranes off a well-flighted cross-ball from Kizza Mustafa in the 5th minute and took the game into recess 1-0 in favor of the hosts.

Before Burundi, Uganda ejected Somalia will be playing at the CHAN finals for the fifth consecutive time after making the cut to the same tournament in 2011 (Sudan), 2013 (South Africa), 2016 (Rwanda) and the latest being 2018 (Morocco).
