UFL: Kampala University advance to the Quaterfinal stage

Kampala University hammered new entrants ISBAT University 3-0 at the Luzira Prison grounds on Saturday evening to become the first University to book their place in the quarters finals.

KU ’s three goals were two scored in the opening half and one in the second with Nsubuga Benjamin netting their first just nine (9) minutes into the game with a cool header.

At the half hour mark, ISBAT upped their game forcing Kampala University into increased rearguard action.

However ten minutes later, but in a quick turn over, the ball there was a foul in the area and Kiwewa Raymond converted from spot to double Kampala University’s first half lead.

In the second half, ISBAT tried to lift themselves up with a couple of chances on goal but failed to convert any.

However with seven minutes left on the clock, Wabomba Emmanuel sealed the Kampala side’s win only to finish the game 3-0.

This means Kampala University leads Group F with a maximum nine(9) points while ISBAT stays bottom with no point.
