Transfers: Vipers complete Kizza capture


Uganda Premier League defending Champions Vipers SC have completed the signing of winger Martin Kizza.

Kizza, who has put pen to paper on a two-year employment contract becomes the Venoms first official new addition this window.

‘I am really, really happy to be here and going to wear this great shirt with this famous badge, it’s a dream,” said Kizza to Vipers Media after putting pen to paper

“I’m really happy and highly motivated to continue living my dream on the pitch and giving my all in a Vipers shirt,” he added.

“Vipers SC have a wonderful history in football now. I’ve played against the Venoms, I know what it feels like to be in the stadium with the fans behind them.”

“I was with the opposition and now I’m on the right side so I’m really excited. It’s a massive club with great players. As I said before, it’s a dream to be here finally.”

Kizza joins the Venoms as a few agent, having sat out the whole of this season’s Uganda Premier League first round after his stint with Express.

Apart from Express, he has also featured for KCCA and SC Villa in Uganda.

Abroad, he has featured for South Sides Free State Stars (2019) and Royal Eagles (2020)

His new side, Vipers SC is currently preparing for the group stages of the CAF Champions League and are pitted in same group with Simba, Raja Casablanca and Horoya AC.
