Transfers: UPDF set to capture James Begisa’s replacement

StarTimes Uganda Premier League side Uganda Police Defense Forces Football Club ( UPDF FC) is set to complete the signing of right back Mugamba Sadur Abdallah, The Touchline Sports can confirm.

Sadur, formerly at Kenyan side Western Stima will reunite with his former coach Brian Ssenyondo after the pair worked together at Synergy FC.

He will join the Army side as James Begisa’s replacement who left the club early on in the window to join URA FC.

UPDF finished in 10th place on last year’s SUPL standings and have been busy in the transfer window over the past few months.

Ahead of the transfer deadline on 21st September, they have so far captured Pius Kaggwa,Simon Mabuya, Sserugo Adrian, Simon Mukisa, Mpoza Steven, Mark Buule Donald, Kyeyune Abasi, Achumu Farid, Oscar Agaba, Akoch Augustine, Ibrahim Magandaazi and Bebe Swalik Ssegujja.

UPDF first game of the 2022/23 season will be against Express FC on 1st October at the Bombo Barracks Military Playground.
