Startimes UPL: Wounded Express to host a winless Gaddafi side

Express will host Gaddafi Modern in what will be a good game for the neutrals and fans at the Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku on Tuesday evening at 4pm.

In this fixture, there will be a number of Gaddafi Modern players who will be pointing guns at their former team led by their bosses in Head coach Wasswa Bbosa, Goalkeeping coach Sam Kawalya and trainer Ayub Balyejusa.

The players that who once played for Express but now moved to the other side include Joel Mutakubwa, Sadiq Ssekyembe, Shafik Bakaki, Mahad Yaya, Simon Sserunkuma, Nicholas Kasozi among others and all will look to Haut their former club.

Express lost the City bragging rights to rivals, Sports Club Villa in their last game away from home at home since both teams host games at the same venue. They will look to get back to winning ways in order to boost their confidence and improve their position on the Log.

Head coach James Odoch talked to the club media, informing them of how focused he his on the game against Gadaffi,

We lost our previous game against SC Villa. We are already focused on our next game tomorrow,”

Most of the players were from express including the coach so it turns out to be a derby as well. We shall plan very well to see that we win tomorrow’s game,” he added.

On the other side, Gadaffi Modern who haven’t had a good start to the season playing two games drawing and loosing to the same opposition as the Red Eagles respectively will hope to revive their season with their first win of the campaign.

Experience will be key if the Jinja side are to win against the Red Eagles on Tuesday evening since they have never won a game against Express.

Express will be Without four of their players in  David Lukwago, Yusuf Ssozi, Abubaker Kasule and left back Arthur Kiggundu.

There is doubt if Derrick Ngoobi will play or not for  he will be need a late fitness test.

For Gaddafi, they will be without Captain Waiswa Andrew, Kirya Amos, Mulimi Frank, Bithum Ronald, Kasozi Nicolas and Jamaldine Buchochera while Godfrey Lwesibawa is also away with the Sand Cranes team.
