Wakiso Giants and Onduparaka FC played out to a 1-all stalemate in a StarTimes Uganda Premier League game played at the AbaBet Green Light Stadium, Arua on Tuesday.

Ahmed Amayo was on target for the Caterpillars while Joshua Lubwama got purple sharks goal in a game that witnessed a few chances.

Amayo broke the deadlock midway the opening half as he rose high to head a well driven Baden Mujahid cross.

Before the break, Onduparaka got two brilliant chances to double their lead but Baden and Mohammad Shaban failed to find the target.

The game went into the break with the hosts leading 1-0.

Wakiso Giants returned for the closing half a better side and leveled matters in 64th minute, Lubwama getting his free kick effort past Mathias Muwanga.

Lubwama’s strike salvaged a point for Wakiso Giants in Arua.

With a point, Wakiso Giants now sit 5th on the log with 16 points after 9 games while Onduparaka are now 10th with 10 points.

Wakiso Giants host UPDF in their next fixture while Onduparaka will battle Mbarara City away.
