The Venoms found the back of the net in the 26th minute after a fancy combination of passes from Ceasor Manzoki and winger Milton Kaliso when the latter calmly set the former to slot in home from 10 yards to make it 1-1.
Siraje Ssentamu picked the first booking of the match in the 37th minute when he blocked slinky forward Sadat Anaku.
Davis Kasirye’s lack of concentration in the final third denied KCCA FC a would-be lead when he failed to punish Fabian Mutombora’s failed attempt to clear a back pass from defender Mulondo.
The first half ended one-all with both sides promising a rejuvenated second half
Both teams made early substitutions with Vipers duo of Disan Galiwango and Allan Kayiwa paving the way for Karim Watambala and Aziz Kayondo while Yasser Mugerwa and Gift Ali came in for Arafat Usama and Rogers Mato for the visitors.
The visitors restored their lead in the 51st minute through substitute Yasser Mugerwa who beautifully fired Innocent Wafula’s low cross outside the 16-yard box.

KCCA FC made two more substitutions with stretched out John Revita and Davis Kasirye paving way for Musa Ramathan and Joseph Bukenya.

The venoms tried to push for an equaliser through league MVP Bobosi Byaruhanga but both his distance shots went wide
Roberto Martinez introduced in Dan Sserunkuma for Siraje Ssentamu to add more pressure in the final third
And boom, the league MVP Bobosi Byaruhanga sent in a long range shot which hit the crossbar to bounce in and out of the goal thanks to the kin eye of the linesman who waived for a home goal to silence the away fans in the 89th minute to make it 2-2.
KCCA FC maintain first place with 23 points while Vipers SC remain second with 17 points
