StarTimes UPL: Vipers collect maximum points against Bright stars at Kavumba

Vipers SC defeated Solitilo Bright stars 0-2 at the Kavumba Recreation center in Wakiso on Friday evening.

Karim Watambala’s shot opened up the score sheet for vipers in the 48th minute while Bright Anukani scored the second and last goal of the day

In the first half, both teams possessed the ball and tried to create chances that were not fully utilized by their leading strikers Nelson Ssenkatuka and Eric Kambale for Bright Stars and Vipers respectively

In the second half, Vipers got so aggressive through Abdul Lumala, Karim Watambala and created more chances that resulted into the two goals of the day

The “Venoms” defender, Patrick Mbowa emerged as the man of the match.

This was Vipers’ second away win of the season following their first away win against Gadafi fc in Jinja.

Bright stars remain winless in the season with only two draws which settle them in the 13th position of the league as vipers climb to the 4th position with 11points

Bright stars visits Mbarara city in Kakyeka on 31st October while Vipers host Wakiso Giants at the St Mary’s stadium kitende on 31st October
