SC Villa stay up north to await on their game against Army side UPDF FC at the Aki Bua stadium, Lira in the Startimes Uganda Premier League on Sunday.

With a good run of results at the back of their heads, the Joogo hope to continue their winning streak at home.

They will look to their forwards to help the team after their main striker Sheif Baate came to the party a game after Patrick Jonah Kakande had scored against Maroons.

SC Villa’s Assistant captain Gift Fred hopes his side will be twice more hard working than their opponent;

“We have had our last training and all know the condition of the pitch and we are ready to go on for the next match to take out our opponents.”

“Feel that we can get a three match winning streak which will steadily improve on our position on the table.”

“UPDF is a hard working team, to win against them you have to twice be more hard working, they play a physical game and are full of young players.”

“They also have some experienced players like we and I think if we put up a good fight we can overcome them.”

On the other hand, UPDF FC have not had results go their way, having no win in their last eight games of the campaign.

UPDF sit a place away from the red zone in 13th with 7 points winning only once, drawing four  and losing six.

The Army side will hope to build on the draw in their last game with the help of their youngsters in Rogers Mugisha, Abasi Kyeyune and Yasin Sabir.
