Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club, (URA FC) will be seeking to return to the summit of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League when they travel to the Bombo Military playground to battle with the record champions SC Villa.

The tax collectors are now just a point below Vipers SC who have played a game more, with a goalless draw against Wakiso Giants on Tuesday evening.

URA will be confident going into this game having lost only one away game in nine attempts this season with 6 of them ending in wins and just a single draw.

On form Shafik Kagimu, Steven Mukwala and Cromwel Rwothomio are all avaialable  and will be the key players for Sam Simbwa’s side who are targeting a third consecutive league win over the Jogoos. SC Villa last defeated URA in the 2016-17 season.

The reverse fixture ended in a 2-1 win for URA FC with Benjamin Nyakonjo and Saidi Kyeyune netting for the tax collectors, while Derrick Ndahiro was on the scoresheet for the Jogoos.

Villa are right now not in a very good position as they find themselves seventh on the log with just 29 points garnered in 18 games. In their last league game, they surrendered 1-0 to KCCA FC in Lugogo courtesy of Charles Lwanga’s late screamer.

Ronald Ssekiganda, Geofrey Wasswa and Nicholas Kabonge will be the key players for the record Giants.

Teams news.

Fred Agandu, Andrew Kiwanuka, Salim and Abdallah and Benson Muhindo are all out of this crucial game.

Agandu is out due to a suspension while Kiwanuka, Salim and Muhindo are out with injuries.

URA will be without Joachim Ojera who is not part of the 19-man squad list for the game while Jackson Nunda is still unavailable.
