StarTimes UPL: Three SC Villa second half goals continue to sink Arua Hill at Wankulukuku

SC Villa beat struggling Arua Hills 3-1 at the Muteesa 2 stadium in Wankulukuku on Thursday evening.

After a goalless draw in the first half, SC Villa got their opener through Ronald Ssekiganda scoring in the 47th minute, Umar Lutalo scoring in the 69th minute and substitute, Peter Onzima with a shot in the 90th minute.

Frank Kalanda who came in as a substitute got the consolation goal for Arua Hills in the 93rd minute through a header from Gadafi Wahab’s free kick.

This was the Jogoos second win of the season after six games, the first win being a 3-0 win against NEC FC while it was Arua Hills’ sixth lose of the season.

The 16 times Uganda top flight league gaints, SC Villa sit in the eighth position with 8 points out of the 6games they have played as the “Kongolos” cement their bottom position with 1 point out of 7 games.

SC Villa visits Mbarara city at Kakyeka stadium in Mbarara on the 23rd November while Arua Hills host UPDF on 24th November at the Parid stadium in Adjumani.
